RE-OPENING INFORMATION

Harrow Shopmobility will be re-opening on the 20th July 2020 at 10am and we would like to welcome our Users back and welcome new registrations too.

To ensure a safe and smooth delivery of service we have updated our service procedures which will be regularly reviewed in line with Government guidance.

Please familiarise yourself with the important changes below.

OPENING:

  • We open on the 20th July from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday.

  • YOU MUST BOOK AN APPOINTMENT at least 24 hours before you plan to use a scooter or wheelchair and a time slot will be allocated at 20 minute intervals. You will be allowed to use the equipment for 3 hours per appointment slot. The last appointment will be at 12.00pm.

  • On the last appointment, Scooters and wheelchairs must be back by 3.00pm.

Please familiarise yourself with the following procedures:

  • Only one person at a time will be allowed into the office, however there may be instances when a carer accompanying a User may be allowed in e.g. First time registrations.

  • Generally, a walk in service will not be available except in case of emergency.

  • If you arrive early to use the service, kindly wait until the appointed time with your registration card. If you arrive by Taxi, seating provision has been made outside the office.

  • Your booked scooter/wheelchair will be parked on the forecourt right hand side when facing the office which will be sign posted.

  • Scooters will need to be returned by 3.00pm sharp to allow for the enhanced cleaning procedures now in place. Returned scooters and wheelchairs are to be left on the left hand side of the forecourt.

  • Entrance into the office will be restricted to one person only AND YOU MUST WEAR A MASK.

  • YOUR TEMPERATURE WILL BE TAKEN with a digital thermometer. In the event that you register a high temperature, we regret that you will not be able to use the service and will be advised to contact 111 for guidance.

This is to safeguard our Volunteers, Staff and other Users health.

  • YOU MUST SANITISE YOUR HANDS at the Entrance station first and maintain a safe distance, within the office currently 2m.

  • Where possible can you please make any payments by card rather than cash to help prevent the spread of the virus.

  • We are working to ensure Users, our Volunteers and Staffs safety, so we ask you to please cooperate with the rules.

Book by phone during office hours only 10.00am 4.00pm.

NEW USERS:

In the case of new Users signing up, kindly contact us by email or telephone and we will assign an appointment for you to sign up.
